Post subject: Some good news and some bad news.

Hi Keepers and any others that may stop by!
I was going to handwrite this and scan it in for the corny, sentimental effect, but I reallized my handwriting is almost as bad as my spelling, and I actually wanted y'all to be able to read this instead of getting a crick in your neck from having to read at a gradually declining downward angle.
As y'all know, I've been kinda scarce the last couple of weeks. I had to hit the gym and all that good stuff because I was going home to see my family for Easter. My family....and a young lady that has been one of my best friends for over 10 years. So yeah, I had to buff up
Recently, we've finally reallized that each of us wants nothing more than to spend the rest of our life with our best friend. Each being that person who has held the other up when times are tough over the last decade. So, needless to say, I'll be an engaged man as soon as I can find the right ring (within the month), and I'll be the happiest little ex-mage around. That's the good news. Woohoo!
Bad news is, I have my faults. One of those being, I'm not one of those people that can do the things it takes to be the man I have to be for my best friend, and still balance the active raiding schedule that KTF requires. And as MUCH as I love all y'all, I've loved her alot longer! This was something I had to admit to myself, however grudgingly, sometime last week. I've toiled it over for the last couple of days while at home (probably wasn't real fair for the side of me that wants to keep playing EQ, cause I always sat down to think about it after spending all day with her, but I digress)
So, here I am. I had to decide to leave KTF, and by default, Im going to be leaving EQ for all intents and purposes. A part of me feels horrible for this. Y'all have been very kind to me. You have let me see parts of this game that I never dreamed I would be able to. You've helped me build Tomlyn into a very well-equipped magician, and now I'm just yanking the investment y'all put into him away from y'all. This can't be helped now, and I hope, at least, that y'all will feel you got alot out of me while I was there. If nothing else than some good laughs.
I'll probably keep Tomlyn's account active for a while. He's something I'm very proud of. He's the result of my hobby over the last few years, and, in a way, I look at him as sort of a plaque, or trophy that you sit on a shelf in your house. However odd that sounds. It would break my heart to think of anyone else but me being on Tomlyn, so y'all need not worry about seeing anything on PA, it's just not in me.
I'll try and log in occassionally to say hello and all that, but other than that, it is time to move on. I've had alot of fun with a good deal of you. I think I've grown close to alot of people in this game that I'd love to keep in touch with. In Keepers, and many who are not. So you may see some purple text from me on occassion. I actually plan on still going to the Chicago FF, so I can meet more of you, and I would love to have "Keepers of the Faith" under Tomlyn's name on the tag, if y'all wouldn't mind.
Good luck in gaffling the rest of this expansion! It pains me to think I won't see it through after getting so close, but I know y'all will keep kicking ass. And wish me luck, Im going to need it.
Much Love,
Tommy Kilman
The person behind
Tomlyn Dryake and Gigg em'Aggs formally of Keepers of the Faith.
I'll miss you all.
Asshole! Who else am I going to be able to nickname that!?
I am really going to miss you Tommy. Ever since our first meeting at Fanfaire we've been friends and it is not going to be easy here without you. You helped push me through the rigors of recruitment with your great attitude and humor. I'll always appreciate that.
Make this lady yours and enjoy the time you'll share together. I know she is getting a good friend.
When you get a chance, drop me a line in game or at naerbon28 @ hotmail.com.
I envy ya, Tomlyn. I hope your future life brings you nothing but the greatest of happiness, though I'm fairly sure that will be a given. Stop by whenever you have time, bud, I'll always have a hello saved for ya.
