A peek into the Peak
[ Saturday, December 14, 2002 - Lynx - 0 Comments ]

This last Thursday a few of us paid a visit to Veeshan's Peak.

In typical VP raid fashion we proceeded to wipe to Hoshkar. However, we were not going to let it end like that, so we pressed on and Hashkar, sadly, was put to rest. Lukster walked away sporting a new pair of grey suede boots.

Next up, Silverwing. She fell faster then I could cast a second nuke! As for loot, Drydan is very sad that he was not there to loot his "Hammah", Rentor scored one, but we had to let the second one rot.

Then came the hardest part of our little trip to VP, the move to the second safe spot! We did manage to get there with only a few deaths and after about 30-40 minutes. Then the monks proceeded to do a masterful job of pulling Phara Dar on the first try. She gave us a pair of Robes and an Elder Shield.

Then we breezed through Druushk and Xygoz, but Nexona was not interested in coming out and playing. We took our ball and walked home.

It would be unfair to say we did this completely alone, we had some help from some rather impressive pets provided by Jhuild.

And of course, what would a VP trip be without a few (dozen) monk deaths?

The real surprise in all this was that Glom didn't die!!! I fear there is a great disturbance in the balance of our existence. Watch yourselves! Something evil is at work here...

Slippery When Wet

Hello, hello!

It's been a busy time for the Family KTF of late, pushing onwards and upwards into the higher planes! First, let us welcome some famous family members: Dirt-Lan Rides Again! Out of retirement and back to wreak havoc upon the lands once more!

"Drogard and Tranz have nothing on me!"

Managing to extricate himself from the various sentient pickles, and unspeakable monstrosities that inhabit Dirt-Lan, long enough for us to take the above picture, Dirt lives again! AIEEEEEEEE! Halfling monks forever!

"They created a monster!"

The Gruesome Twosome is complete! Welcome back, Lukster! Unlike Dirt, Luk has a Feign Death skill of over 50, we are reliably informed - some day, all monks will be High Elven!

"I'm going to hide behind my hub-cap for a bit, tell me when it's safe"

With enormous 70's-style afro placed firmly upon his ample cranium, and hairy chest bared to the world, our very own David Hasslehoff incarnate, Rentor, shakes Norrath once more! Vilkommen sie!

Dedicated to keeping the lands forever moist, craving dampness and humidity above all else, the Family KTF thought it high time to release The Rainkeeper, Karana, from his place of imprisonment - held captive by his evil ego, Agnarr the Storm Lord!

"Some like it moist"

o/~ I'm going to go outside and get...
Absolutely soaking wet...! o/~

Every time it rains upon Prexus, you know whom to thank!

Within a separate strand of the story, we've been poking around within the tower of Mister Toasty himself, Solusek Ro. Suffice to say, you've never seen such a gooey, mushy, gushing response to a creature until you've seen a collection of wizards come face-to-face with Xuzl. It's like watching teenagers at a pop concert. Truly disturbing.

"Oh Xuzl, we loooooove you!" - 15 KTF Wizards in unison

Have fun, everyone! Keep those umbrellas handy! Smile

Bienvenue!
