A Taste of Things to Come!

In a quick update before the impending, larger update (editorial 'flu suffering just about over!), the family KTF have been playing around here and there in the Elemental Planes. Interesting sights and sounds, and creatures fabulous and fearsome, to see coming soon, but for today we leave with a bijou tidbit!

Greetings! While the snows of winter thaw (or the deluge of floodwaters subside, if you live near me!) into a chill spring, we've been warming ourselves within the Temple of Mister Ro, and hence the Plane of Fire!

First of all, it gives us great pleasure to welcome into the family four of our very newest, shiny, polished and nubile members: adjust your postures and make ready for:

Allec of Halas! Strongly suspected to be a long-lost relation of Papa Drydan, the hereditory resemblance is astounding!

I'm a tiger! Rar!

The Quenai House of Plenty's warrior, brave Nolly of Fadywer, takes his place within the KTF tank corps! Lining up with his fellow ogres and barbarians, Nolly shows us all that wood elves are not shy when it comes to being punched directly in the face by the various boss-creatures of Norrath and the planes!

Born in the tree-tops of leafy Kelethin, Kendien soon donned the tuxedo and polished shoes of the Wood Elven Secret Service, and joins the guild as our very own secret agent! Welcome!

Welcome also to Atorsh! Raised in a shoeshop in Erudin, Atorsh's unfathomable record for grandmastering tradeskills tops even that of dearest Marthisdil!

Tradeskills play havoc on one's hands!

Before paying our visit to the big fellow himself, we passed by the guild wizard's favourite and most luxurious baddy... Abes showed us just how well a bard with a Blade of Carnage can tank, to the cheers of the crowd, and the screams of the wizards!

The adoring fans let forth their cries!

In a literally scorching encounter, fiery and flatulent Solusek Ro let down his druidic and wizardly followers and flopped at the Family KTF's collective feet! Jhuild caused the usual quantity of cardiac arrests as he re-animated the fallen god. Smile

What the!!! Oh, phew. (Episode 241)

We leave you with a quick illustration of what happens when a group wipes out in the Plane of Earth and decides not to wait for the grave-yard to retrieve the corpses. Note, particularly, Cogg's and Aebriol's summoned armour and weapons, as the largely-naked group makes its way back to the bodies!

This summoned armour really itches, Marth!

Farewell, The Forehead

I tried to fight it, Lord knows that I tried. After many proud months, the picture of Yen's gleaming forehead has been removed, due to public pressure. In order to commemorate that wonderful picture of The Forehead, it shall here be immortalised forever in the news section!

Welcome welcome welcome to two new members of the KTF family, Lola the bard, and Ganien the ranger!

Lola has been singing songs on Good Old Prexus as long ago as our very first dragon raids, and we're very proud to have her with us!

Ganien is an acolyte of the Quenai House of Plenty, and his rangerly twangings and collection of fruits and berries are similarly well received!

Welcome aboard, both. Smile

With the coming of the New Year, the holidays drawing to a close see the Family KTF taking down their decorations, consigning those last morsels of Christmas-day turkey to the funeral pyre, and thrusting forth once more into the planes. Happy new year, readers!

With New Year resolutions made and, as is oft the case, broken already, we took up the task begun in the pre-Christmas week: Rallos Zek the Warlord!

Here follows a picture of Mr the Warlord's somewhat ignominious ending: having his head wedged into a wall so that only the tips of his shoes remain, the poor thing. Smile

In keeping with his promise to don an item of revealing undergarmency upon victory over the God of War, Nakilos fulfills his pact...

Was victory worth such torments?

Thus allowed access to the Elemental Planes, the adventurers of the Family KTF have seen many weird, wonderous, terrible and frequently unsettling creatures therein.

Some are so hideous, so unfathomably revolting, that it is beyond mere mortal faculties to even comprehend their true repugnance.

Depicted below is one such creature. A creature of nightmares, a creature upon whose visage one cannot look for even the briefest instant without losing one's sanity to its unspeakable and indescribably horrific appearance. Be warned, noble reader, for you shall never sleep soundly again...

Oh, and there's a rather attractive, green tentacled sea-plant in the picture, too.

A Picture Bespeaks a Thousand Screams

We trust that you are fully recovered from the shock, and that the traumatisation shall not be permanent!

Swimming around the Plane of Water, Nakilos made use of a new Minor Illusion gizmo to turn into a rather lovely piece of sendimentary geology, complete with an attractive sprig of red lichen. We like him that way!

Are you ready to ROCK!?

His Royal Whewness, Notthe, managed to improve his collection of irrationally-sized armaments by finding the following cutlass! It even summons rather sweet little skeletons which wield the Shadow-Knight epic sword, complete with miniature squirrel skulls!

Whew hoo!

Whilst wintering in the warm and arid climes of the Plane of Earth, the following noteworthy made its way into illustrative immortality - I think it's rather adorable, but it seems that's a unique opinion. Smile

As this New Year update comes to a close, we leave you with the latest KTF clerical trick in order to squeeze maximum efficiency from their mana bar. Rather than constantly rebuffing over and over, after every death, some canny KTF priests have taken an alternative approach to dealing with the more fragile wizardly members of the guild...
