Okay I guess the joke is up, I might as well come clean.
See, Kite used to be a 13 year old kid living in Kansas who was inspired by the whole .hack//sign cartoon into playing World of Warcraft. Then one day he and his entire family were placed in suspended animation when me and Tyriael came back from the future on a mission.
Wait..confused yet? I probably lost you at "Okay I" but lets move forward.
Look ahead to 2025 and aliens have invaded earth and have enslaved humanity. They force us to play WoW all day and then kill those who fail to succeed at wow.
Cladnin attempted to lead a resistance movement but Hydde was like OH BUT LOLZ WE'RE #1 and took charge, and the people followed him like sheep, and failed when he forgot to take the safe off his blaster rifle and got everyone killed. Way to go #1 LEADAH OH YEA HEROISM FAILED YA.
Anyway, long story short, Claad sent us back in time to help his younger self get past this momentary lull and so that in 2025 the aliens loose and life moves on at its cheery pace.
So don't mess with me Mr "i apped to KTF like 10 times and got ignored and so I'm angry". I took kinsawt down, I can do the same to you. I'M FROM THE FUTURE DOOD.

Willam had a slightly larger role in Mallrats, in which he tries to see a sailboat in a Magic Eye picture. Throughout the film he stares at the picture as mall customers spot the sailboat in seconds. At one point, in frustration, he kicks the picture and kicks part of a television show stage, which becomes a story point. Before the end credits, a caption reveals that Willam eventually saw the sailboat (and broke the fourth wall by showing that he could see that caption).
Willam appears in a panel of the first issue of the comic book mini-series Chasing Dogma, still trying to see the sailboat.
