Baddies of the Faith
4 mages, 1 shadow priest - rofls
Yea, we're ready for the onslaught of mocking, we know we were slow and bad. Twins hurt us quite bad with the necessity to recruit more resto shaman. We've never been a guild to over recruit, nor one that stacks our raid, so Sunwell has been a big change for us. Our attendance has been spotty for the entire zone as well. If you read the prior update, you'll know how the extremely lengthy break between BT and SWP took a toll on raiders like ourselves who had been in BT nearly an eternity. Our raid schedule has dropped from 5 hours per weekday and ~7 hours per Saturday down to ~4 hours per weekday (sometimes less!) and ~5 hours on Saturday as of late. All that aside, ultimately it is 100% our own faults that we never killed the pre-nerf M'uru. Despite our drop in attendance lately, we were making some headway on M'uru finally, and expected a kill this week, nerf or not. In the 15% range with 3-4 mages, 4 shaman and 1 shadow priest is hardly a horrible feat, and we definitely should have had it down (and would have). While its sad for a challenging mob like M'uru to be nerfed to such an extent, it isn't Blizzard's fault that we slacked. Could have killed it yesterday, but after our one-shot slaughtering of the first 4, we choked and wiped in the 20% range over and over (baddies!).
So yea, we're prepared for the "ur bad"s. The difference between us and you: we're still having fun, laughing all night during raids, despite lacking a pre-nerf M'uru kill. While I'm sure there's other guilds still having fun playing with their friends, I know of plenty that are running the motions and cannot sincerely say they are enjoying themselves. I can safely say that though, as our raids are pretty much constant laughter - I personally wouldn't ask for a lot more (although the progression we had per-BT would be preferred!). Anyway, enough excuses, they're like assholes: we all have them.
