Hi All! Real Life, EQ2, and other tidbits

Hello everyone! I've done a bit of trolling on the ol' KTF forums and thought I'd share what I've been up to lately.

I'm currently a First Officer (co-pilot to the leyman) for American Eagle Airlines. I fly the Embraer-145, a 50 seat regional jet out of Chicago O'hare. My seniority at the company has been moving up pretty fast lately, and I expect to be upgraded to Captain within the next 1-2 years. Eventually, I'd like to get on with a mainline carrier; my top prospects are Delta or Airtran.

I've been married for 3 1/2 years to my wife Holly. We have a beautiful 17 month old son named Aaron. We've currently living in the D.C. area, though we're looking to move back south.

I am still very active in Everquest 2 on the Guk server. My main is a level 90 Coercer. I still play Peileii (90 Swashbuckler), but at a much lesser pace. I also have a level 90 Illusionist, 90 Dirge, 80 Brigand, 80 Templar, and several other low-level characters. I'm in a guild called La Cosa Nostra (now called LCN; our name was nerfed because someone was offended for some reason). We are the #6 guild on our server in terms of progression. We're working our way through the latest expansion, Sentinel's Fate - a recreation of the Odus continent, with heavy emphasis on Paineel (now a neutral city), Erudin (an evil city full of monsters), and the Hole (a large development by SoE - includes a gigantic contestable zone, 3 group instances, and a gigantic raid instance). When the game first started, there were quite a few EQ1 people playing on Guk server, but as far as I know, only myself and Matafleur are active on the server. A couple years ago, I got to play with Marthisdil, Wamp, and Nakilos, but they have all since moved on from the game.

Back in August, I attended SOE's Fan Faire in Las Vegas. I actually got to meet some former KTF members! I met Laureli, Quanestipah, Kamchak and one other...I think maybe it was Daezon? Chronnos was also there briefly, apparently, but I didn't get a chance to meet him. Sorry man! The next expansion along with some of the other plans for EQ2 look really neat. They're coming out with a Velious expansion, and so far the visuals look great! Rumors were abound about a possible EQ3!, but they never announced it officially. The game that SOE is releasing this fall that I'm particularly interested in is Magic the Gathering: Tactics. www.soe.com/mtg .

In game, Keepers of the Faith is a dead guild. There are no original KTF members left in the guild, and the 15 or so members in the guild are all on inactive accounts. I currently own a guild on my alts called Returners of Faith, however, I'm working to try to obtain the KTF name back, since all the members are now inactive. RoF is a small guild, but I'm doing my best to build it as a viable guild (any KTF members in EQ2? Start an alt and join us on Guk server! I really don't care if you play or not). We just got a guild hall a few weeks ago. My long term plan is to populate it with aminities and pets that contain the names of as many members of EQ1 KTF as I can. I'll be sure to post pictures when it comes together.
